About this coloring page
The front wall taken off a windmill so you can see the whole machine: cap, brake wheel, upright shaft running down through every floor, the gears, the millstones and the sacks waiting below. Cutaways answer the question children actually ask, which is not what a thing looks like but what is inside it. Lots of small mechanical parts, so this one suits older children and adults with a fine pencil.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
