About this coloring page
A poppy in four stages: the open flower with its crinkled petals, a drooping bud still to open, the ripe seed capsule and a cut-through showing the seeds inside. The capsule cross-section is the part that makes it a botanical plate rather than a flower drawing.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
