About this coloring page
A dead-straight country road runs to the horizon between two rows of poplars, with a bicycle propped against one trunk and an enormous open sky above. Anyone who has cycled through a Dutch polder in July knows exactly this view. The strong one-point perspective makes it a useful drawing-lesson page as well as a colouring one. Bleached yellows and dusty greens sell the heat better than bright summer colours do.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
