About this coloring page
A slice of soil showing three bulbs at different stages, roots below and the first flowers above. Cutting the ground open is the part children remember — a bulb is a whole plant waiting in a box. Soil is a dozen browns layered on top of each other, and this is the page where taking the trouble to vary them actually shows.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
