About this coloring page
A woven nest with four speckled eggs in the fork of a branch and a parent bird arriving. The weave is hundreds of crossing twigs, which is the sort of thing that looks impossible and colours easily. Real eggs are speckled, not spotted — the marks cluster at the blunt end — and copying that makes four ovals look like something that was laid.
Printing tips
Set your printer to “fit to page” and turn off headers and footers. Ordinary 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils; use 120 gsm or heavier if you colour with markers so the ink does not bleed through.
